Sales Manager

We are seeking a dynamic, highly proactive Sales Representative to drive revenue growth specifically within the Legacy Optimisation business segment.

The successful candidate will combine strong industry experience with a direct sales approach to build and expand on existing client relationships while aggressively cultivating new business opportunities.

Durata is a leading provider of critical data centre infrastructure solutions, specialising in modular data centres, critical power systems and legacy optimisation services.  Durata’s Legacy Optimisation offering delivers endtoend assessment, engineering and implementation solutions from condition surveys and lifecycle reporting through to design, upgrade and compliance, ensuring infrastructure is robust, resilient and futureready. 

We deliver projects directly with Tier 1 OEMs, and our vendoragnostic approach ensures we can seamlessly work with multiple suppliers to deliver largescale, customised solutions. 

Key Responsibilities 

Client Relationship & Account Growth 

  • Build and deepen longterm relationships with existing customers in the data centre and critical infrastructure sectors. 
  • Understand client needs around infrastructure challenges, performance improvements, risk mitigation and lifecycle planning. 
  • Proactively identify upsell and crosssell opportunities for Legacy Optimisation. 

New Business Development 

  • Proactively and diligently generate new leads and close new customers across target sectors (data centre operators, hyperscalers, colocation providers, enterprises, etc.). 
  • Develop a strong sales pipeline through outreach, networking, events attendance and sector engagement. 
  • Qualify prospects and create compelling proposals to achieve and exceed sales targets. 

Industry Engagement & Networking 

  • Actively network within the data centre and technology ecosystem to raise Durata’s profile and build brand recognition. 
  • Represent Durata at trade shows, conferences, industry associations and client events. 

Strategic Sales Execution 

  • Drive the full sales cycle — from lead generation through qualification, presentation, proposal, negotiation and closing. 
  • Work closely with the Project Delivery Team to ensure all project variations are identified and maximised. 
  • Collaborate with technical teams to tailor solutions that align with client requirements and Durata’s service capabilities. 
  • Maintain accurate forecasts, pipeline updates and CRM records. 

Required Skills & Experience 

  • Proven track record in sales within the data centre, critical infrastructure, engineering services or related technology sectors. 
  • Strong technical understanding of data centre infrastructure, legacy systems and optimisation challenges. 
  • Experience working on projects with Tier 1 OEMs and the ability to manage vendoragnostic delivery approaches. 
  • Exceptional ability to nurture existing accounts and convert them into longterm, highvalue partnerships. 
  • Demonstrated success in winning new business and meeting or exceeding revenue targets. 
  • Excellent communicator with outstanding negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills. 
  • Highly motivated, selfdriven, proactive and able to operate effectively in a competitive environment.

  • Established industry network and recognised credibility with data centre operators or technology decisionmakers. 
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate customer challenges into business solutions and measurable outcomes. 
  • Experience with CRM systems and structured sales methodologies.
